- Description
Role Overview:
We’re hiring a financial modeling expert with 4-5 years of experience who’s ready to step into a fast-moving, constantly changing environment. This isn’t a standard, repetitive role—things are always evolving here, and we need someone who’s comfortable working through change. If you’re skilled at financial modeling, making data tell a story, and improving processes, this is the perfect role for you. This role will be a contract, starting at 6 months with potential to extend. What You’ll Do:
- Analyze financial data using the three financial statements to build useful models that support company goals.
- Review monthly executive reports, pick out the most important information, and provide insights that decision-makers can use right away.
- Work with teams across the company to support financial planning, forecasting, and understanding differences between expectations and results.
- Use ERP systems (SAP preferred) to pull data and organize it in Excel for analysis.
- Create advanced Excel models to make reporting faster and help the company make smarter decisions.
- Spot areas where things can improve and take action to make those improvements happen.
What You Need:
- Strong FP&A skills:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
- Great at turning numbers into clear, impactful stories.
- Deep understanding of the three financial statements and how to use them in financial models.
- Experience working with executive-level reports and identifying the key takeaways.
- ERP system knowledge:
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (bonus points for SAP) and pulling data into Excel.
- Advanced Excel skills:
- Proficiency with formulas, pivot tables, and creating visuals from data.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CPA designation (or in progress).
- Experience working directly with SAP.
Who You Are:
- A problem-solver who’s always looking for better ways to get things done.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
- Detail-focused but able to see the big picture when needed.
- A strong communicator who can get people on board with your ideas
